Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I am so excited about doing this I don't know why I didn't start my book blog years ago when I first thought about making one, but hey everything happens for a reason right. Well let me tell you a little about me...
My name is Ginnie and I have ALWAYS been a bookworm from my early years till infinity and beyond (see what I did there lol anywhoo). My mom always told me that I've always had a passion for books from a young age. Then as I grew older and got my very first library card again thanks to my mom there was no stopping me from reading. I use to do book hauls from the library like every week when my mom would take my brother and I. I remember as my mom saw how much I would read she also started reading and got her own library card. How neat is that right?! (However my mom doesn't really read much anymore... Sorry mom for shouting you out)
I am very passionate about books and I have a deep love for them which is the reason why I created my bookstagram and this blog. I want to meet others like myself that share a passion for books and so we can have our FANGIRL moments without judgement. Trust me, I get that sometimes but not in a bad way for example when my coworkers (non-readers) see how gushy and mushy me and fellow coworkers (readers) get over books and bookish merchandise they look at us like, "Ya a bunch of weirdos, but I wish I was able to sit and read and enjoy it like ya do. Ginnie your such a nerd!" I never take being called a nerd offensive or in a bad way, I actually love saying I'm a nerd! I mean who doesn't want to be a nerd! Nerds are COOL!
So far the bookstagram community has welcomed me with open arms and I love that! Everyone is so sweet and actually listen to you and share their thoughts on things. I have met such amazing people thus far and I want to continue to build relationships with fellow bookstagrammers. I am still new to everything so please bare with me but the cool thing is I will be sharing things that I find and you can watch me grow and evolve as a bookstagrammer, blogger, and who knows what else I will do in the future because I have SO MANY ideas on things I want to do... If only you knew what this brain of mine comes up with... Or do you want to know? That is the question.... Hope you enjoy my blog we are now family and I love the concept of "Ohana" nobody gets left behind that means all is welcome here!
